Columbus, Ohio-based Grange Insurance said it has promoted Elizabeth Dinnin to president of commercial lines.
Ms. Dinnin replaces Greg Adkins who retired earlier this year.
Ms. Dinnin will be responsible for the overall growth and profitability of the company's $200 million book of business. She previously served as vice president of Grange's commercial package business.
"After a lengthy and extensive nationwide search, Elizabeth stood out as a natural fit for the position," said Grange President and Chief Executive Officer Bob James. "Since joining Grange, Elizabeth has been a tremendous driver in earning underwriting profit, retaining renewals and writing new business during a very soft market. I'm confident in her abilities to help us continue to grow our Commercial Lines business."
Before joining Grange in 2008, Ms. Dinnin served as senior vice president and regional manager for FCCI Insurance Group. She began her career with Fireman's Fund Insurance Company in 1979.
Grange Insurance, with $2 billion in assets and $1.3 billion in annual revenue, provides insurance through its network of independent agents. The company offers auto, home, life and business insurance protection.
