Fireman's Fund Insurance Co. has expanded its entertainment division to music and live entertainment to insure the full range of musical artists and their specialized exposures.
Fireman's Fund will be underwriting new customers such as music festivals, record labels, promoters and talent management. In addition, for live entertainment exposures the company will also include spectator liability. Fireman's Fund will continue to insure concerts, theaters, shell corporations, recording studios, rental houses and event production services as part of the new unit.
To support this expansion, Fireman's Fund entertainment business will now feature 2 distinct underwriting units. The company has formed a underwriting unit specializing in live entertainment. The second underwriting unit will continue to focus on film, television, D.I.C.E. related products and photographers.
