Torus Insurance has appointed David Turp as senior underwriter in its London-based offshore energy team, the global specialty insurer announced Tuesday, August 4. Prior to joining Torus, Turp worked as an underwriter for SOVAG, a Russian-backed company specializing in writing East European risk. He has over 20 years' experience in underwriting and broking energy and non-marine insurance.
