Riverfront Insurance merges with Kingston firm

Frank H. Reis Inc., Kingston, N.Y., acquired the Riverfront Insurance Agency, Watervliet, N.Y., according to reports on Tuesday, June 16. Specific terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Riverfront will become a member of The Rice Group, the Kingston firm's management division. Riverfront owner Kim Julien-Brown will serve as senior vice president of Frank H. Reis Inc., and all 10 employees of the property/casualty agency will be retained. The Reis Group, with additional offices in Saugerties, N.Y., New Windsor, N.Y., and Danbury, Conn., has operated for 43 years.
