Chicago-based insurance broker Hub International Ltd. said it has acquired Meier Insurance Agency of Bothell, Wash. Transaction terms were not released.
Hub describes Meier Insurance as a full-service insurance brokerage firm offering commercial lines, personal lines, and employee benefits products and services to customers throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Meier is the second largest member of The Advantage Group, a group of independent brokers, which Hub said gives the agency scale with many top-rated carriers and promotes cross-selling opportunities.
The team from Meier will move to Hub Northwest's existing offices in Bothell.
