DxCG Introduces Predictive-Modeling Tool

Science-based health risk prediction company, DxCG, has teamed with Urix to develop a new integrated disability management tool to assist insurance carriers and employers in managing medical costs from workers' compensation-related injuries, as well as short and long-term disabilities.

DxCG's first predictive modeling system for disability management will allow clients to apply the same scientifically advanced predictive models that have been used for managing population health for the group health insurance industry for more than 10 years.

DxCG predictive models will give clients the ability to identify high-cost claims quickly in order to improve focused service to injured or disabled workers. The company said it also will significantly help manage costs by providing medical cost and utilization information that can be used for reserve setting and detecting fraud and abuse.
