The Seibels Bruce Group, Inc., has implemented ISO HomeValue, a Web-based residential replacement-cost estimator that can be integrated into virtually any underwriting or policy-quoting system, from ISO and AIR Worldwide Corp. Seibels Bruce, a holding corporation, chose the implementation for its Catawba Insurance Company, which writes homeowners policies in South Carolina.

GuideOne Insurance, one of the nation's largest church insurers, has selected Insurity, Inc., a ChoicePoint company, to provide GuideOne with a property/casualty policy administration system for commercial and personal lines. The Insurity system will handle underwriting, rate/quote, workflow, and policy-issuance functions.

Assumption Life has selected COMPASS, SunGard's enterprise group benefit administration system. Assumption Life will use COMPASS as a single-source solution to deliver strategic product development, billing/collections, and administration support to help manage group and individual pension and segregated funds in Canada.

Interpolis, one of the largest property/casualty insurers in the Netherlands, has purchased predictive analytics software from SPSS Inc. to further grow its business through lead generation.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida has implemented TrueComp EIM, an enterprise incentive management solution from Callidus Software Inc. The software helps the carrier manage incentive compensation payments for internal and external agents, brokers, and direct sales staff.

Western United Life Assurance Company has converted the first block of business, immediate annuities, from its legacy environment to AdminServer. The conversion represents approximately 10 percent of the policies from the carrier's legacy environment. The remaining 90 percent is part of a phased effort throughout the next year.

Equitable Reserve Association, a fraternal life insurance company located in Wisconsin, has selected COSS Development Corporation to deliver needs-based financial modeling software. COSS' needs-analysis system includes 11 integrated planning modules dealing with such topics as retirement, survivorship planning, funding for college, and basic financial-needs analysis.

Donegal Insurance Group has selected Guidewire ClaimCenter as the insurer's new claims processing system. ClaimCenter will support all lines of business and end-to-end claim processing for Donegal.

Hallmark Financial Services, Inc., has signed a licensing agreement with 3i Infotech for use of the PREMIA solution to manage the commercial lines business that currently is underwritten by Hallmark in six states.

The Main Street America Group now is using the PriorityRate comparative rating service from PRIORITY Data Systems, a ChoicePoint company, for its personal auto and home quote/application submissions.

Merastar Insurance Company has launched into production with Steel Card's Apogee policy administration, point-of-sale, and Internet quoting solutions. The Apogee solutions include complete quote, bind, policy issuance and administration, task workflow, correspondence, document generation and management, and Internet quoting for customers.

Principal Financial Group now is using a suite of disability claims management and payments systems from FINEOS Corporation. The solution enables Principal to cut down on manual intervention and reduce its claims costs. Principal also expects to improve its speed to market for new products.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City has selected CareAdvance enterprise software from TriZetto Group to automate its case, disease, and population management programs.
