GAB Robins Gets China License

NU Online News Service, March 26, 4:15 p.m.EST--Parsippany, N.J.-based GAB Robins Group of Companiessaid it has received a license to operate in China.[@@]

The claims services firm said the China Insurance RegulatoryCommission awarded the company a license to operate in China tomarket its services to the Chinese insurance industry.

The license, which Robins said is effective immediately, enablesthe firm to provide a full range of loss adjusting services inChina and coincides with the official opening of GAB Robins ChinaCo. Limited. The office is headquartered in Shanghai and includesservice centers in Nanjing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Xiamen andBeijing, China.

The chairperson of GAB Robins China Co. Limited is Lily Li., whoserved as chief representative of GAB Robins' Representative Officein Beijing since 2000.
