Tozer | Deputy Commissioner, Agent Regulation | Virginia Bureau of Insurance Richard Tozer is the Deputy Commissioner for Agent Regulation for the Virginia Bureau of Insurance where he provides daily operational oversight of multiple sections within the Agent Regulation Division. Areas of oversight including agent investigations, agent licensing and continuing education for 350,000 insurance agents and agencies. His duties include managing three teams of Insurance Agent Investigators, and two teams of Insurance Licensing Examiners, Insurance Code review, implement legislative changes, project management, process improvement, change management, and strategic planning. Additionally, Richard represents the Bureau on various NAIC, SILA, and SIRC committees, and the Virginia CE Board. |
