Making a difference: January 23, 2026

Rockford Mutual Insurance Company rallied to support local families this holiday season who are grappling with rising food prices and reductions in food stamp benefits. The company organized food drives and a hat and mitten collection to ensure both nourishment and warmth for their neighbors. Thanks to the generosity of their associates alone, RMIC gathered dozens of non-perishable food items, alongside $80 in cash donations. These contributions were distributed to three food pantries serving families in need in some of the communities Rockford serves:

• Freeport Area Church Cooperative Food Pantry
• Rochelle Christian Food Pantry
