California Insurance Wholesalers Association announced the creation of the CIWA Future Matt Abram Scholarship, established in memory of Matthew Abram, a respected colleague and passionate insurance professional whose impact continues to inspire the industry. Recipients of the scholarship will receive:

  • Complimentary registration to CIWA’s 2026 Annual Meeting, Summer Forum and Future Fall Event.
  • All travel expenses covered, including airfare, hotel accommodations and a daily meal stipend.
  • Access to a dedicated CIWA Future mentor with monthly coaching sessions throughout 2026.
Ori-gen announced the establishment of the Ori-gen Foundation, a new philanthropic platform dedicated to strengthening communities through strategic grantmaking and partnerships. Guided by Ori-gen’s founding pillars of legacy, diversity and community, the Ori-gen Foundation will expand the company’s ability to invest in nonprofit organizations and initiatives that drive equity, resilience and opportunity for underrepresented and underserved communities.
