Aspen Insurance Holdings Limited has appointed John Welch as group chief underwriting officer. He previously served in executive roles across global players including at AXA XL and XL Catlin Group.

NI Holdings, Inc. appointed Kelly Dawson as senior vice president and chief human resources officer. She has over 20 years of human resources experience, including leadership roles at multiple companies.

Calfee, Halter & Griswold LLP announced that Jodi D. Spencer has joined the firm as an experienced senior counsel with Calfee’s policyholder-side Insurance Coverage practice group. She has 20 years of experience advising clients through all phases of insurance recovery, including policy analysis, claims handling, litigation and strategic recovery planning.

Tokio Marine GX announced the following appointments:

  • Olly Litterick — head of renewables
  • Rosa van Reyk — head of North America (West Coast)
  • Michael Galea — head of North America (East Coast)
Counterpart appointed Chris Robowski as director of Allied Healthcare. He previously served as senior vice president of Allied Healthcare Services at Berkshire Hathaway.

James River Group Holdings, Ltd. announced that Joel Cavaness joined as board of directors as an independent, non-executive member. He previously served as chairman, Americas Specialty, at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.

Tokio Marine HCC International appointed Gavin Bridges as chief claims officer. He previously served as head of European Market and Legacy Claims at QBE.

CAC Group appointed Johnathan Daniel as chief financial officer. He most recently served as controller at CAC Group.

Allianz Commercial announced the following appointments:

  • Doan Nguyen-Huu — global head, portfolio solutions
  • Daniel Head — head, portfolio solutions & delegated authority
  • Julie Gibbs — head, portfolio solutions & delegated authority
Davies appointed Jessica Chambliss as senior vice president, flood services. She previously served at Colonial Claims and has 25 years of experience in the financial and insurance industries, including 15 years in flood claims leadership.

Canyon Partners appointed Nick Gray as a managing director focused on insurance solutions. He previously held roles at Shenkman Capital Management, Goldman Sachs Asset Management and BlackRock.
