The MJ Companies hosted its third annual MJ Foundation Golf Scramble fundraiser last week on behalf of its nonprofit arm, the MJ Foundation. The event was held at the Hawthorns Golf and Country Club in Indiana and brought together over 100 industry partners, associates and friends. This year’s fundraiser was an outstanding success, once again setting a new record for the foundation by raising more than $158,000.
Plymouth Rock Assurance is bringing back a summer tradition with the return of “Teacher Week at the Beach,” courtesy of Plymouth Rock’s teachers’ insurance plan. The event for New Jersey and Pennsylvania educators will take place on Wednesday, July 30, through Friday, August 1, at Jenkinson’s Beach and Boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ, from 9:00am – 2:30pm.
On Wednesday, July 9, a single mother who lives in the Boston area was presented with a beautifully refurbished vehicle to provide her the ability to save money on her commute and to provide for her two children, thanks to the National Auto Body Council Recycled Rides program along with car donor Travelers and repair partner CARSTAR Waldron’s A-1 Auto Body.
