Liberty Company Insurance Brokers expanded as D.B. Jones Associates joined Aura Risk Management, an integral part of the Liberty Company Network. This partnership marked a significant milestone, with D.B. Jones Associates bringing its vast expertise in management liability, professional liability, environmental and construction-related insurance services to a broader audience. 

Progressive Insurance launched Cargo Plus, a new endorsement that expanded motor truck cargo coverage purchased by for-hire truckers and other eligible customers. Motor truck cargo coverage offers protection in the event a trucker is legally liable for damage to covered property while in the trucker’s exclusive physical custody and control. The new cargo plus endorsement protects truckers by expanding coverage for perils attributed to wetness, rust and corrosion, and covers perils attributed to driver error and changes in temperature on refrigerated loads for customers that purchase refrigeration breakdown coverage.

Ryan Specialty acquired certain assets of USQRisk Holdings. USQ become a part of the alternative risk business within Ryan Specialty. The acquisition is expected to close during the second quarter of 2025.

Clearwater Analytics acquired Enfusion, Inc., a leader in software-as-a-service solutions for the investment management and hedge fund sectors, in a deal valued at approximately $1.5 billion.

Hub International Limited launched HUB Private Client Small Business Solutions. The new offering provides high-net-worth clients access to specialized coverages to address the risks and liabilities involved with launching and owning a small business.

Susco Solutions was honored as one of the companies on the Inc. Regionals 2025 Southeast List. An extension of the national Inc. 5000 list, the Regionals offer a unique look at the most successful companies within the Southeast economy's most dynamic segment — its independent small businesses.

Compre Group Holdings Limited acquired the CSE Group, a U.S. subsidiary of Covéa. The CSE Group includes two California-domiciled personal lines insurance carriers which ceased to underwrite new business in 2024. This is the second transaction between Covéa and Compre, reinforcing Compre’s commitment to the U.S. market.

FirstChoice has expanded into Minnesota and Arizona. This strategic move provides independent insurance agency owners in these states with the opportunity to join FirstChoice’s thriving network and access to unparalleled resources and support.
