Front Row Insurance Brokers LLC appointed Tony “Anthony” Baratta to its Los Angeles office. He served at Gallagher Entertainment as area senior vice president.

World Insurance Associates LLC announced that Adam Miller has joined as its new executive vice president, national accounts. He served at Aon as managing director and senior account executive.

CRC Group appointed Cristina Varner as executive vice president, life sciences and healthcare broker. She served as executive vice president, national life science and digital health & telemedicine practice leader with a full-service insurance brokerage and consulting firm.

Ascot announced that Bruce Sikorski joined as group head of corporate services. He was responsible for the global real estate of more than 30 offices across four continents at Everest.

IQUW announced the following appointments:

  • Chris Touhey — senior underwriter, energy
  • Darren Stewart — head of marine, energy, and aviation claims
  • Darryl Krobel — MEA engineer
Grange Insurance Company promoted Mike Hickman as vice president, national underwriting and business operations. He worked at Nationwide in a variety of leadership roles in commercial lines underwriting, commercial product and middle market business development.

Incline P&C Group announced the following appointments:

  • Sheel J. Patel — chief risk and strategy officer
  • Lauren Wiedenfeld — chief financial officer
Alera Group appointed Gary Piantedosi as president. He was founder and principal at CBP.

Augment Risk appointed Alejandro Solorzano as associate partner, LATAM Parametric. He served as head of risk transfer & innovation at XS Global.

XS Brokers promoted Peter Buccinna as vice president, regional leader of New York, to continue its expansion efforts in the State. He held 26 years of industry experience and has been instrumental in laying the groundwork for the advancement of XS Brokers.

  • Colin Batchelor - partner
Canopius appointed Laura Burke as U.S. head of cyber and technology. She served as senior vice president at CAC Specialty’s E&O and cyber practice.
