As one of the first executives in an insurtech startup that was recently acquired by a leading software company, and a former chief data officer for AIG, I have had the opportunity to reflect on the AI lessons we have learned over the past six years from a holistic perspective.

AI has transformed the insurance landscape, and our startup journey was marked by significant milestones that required us to frequently reshape our approach to building our company and delivering actual, sustainable AI solutions to carriers.

The slideshow above illustrates six key things my team and I learned during six years with an AI-based insurtech startup.

My journey over the past six years has been one of continuous learning and adaptation. The acquisition by a larger, established company provided new opportunities to expand our capabilities and continue innovating in the AI space.

By staying focused on these key lessons, we are better equipped to navigate the future of AI in insurance and deliver solutions that drive value for clients and their customers.
