A business owners policy costs $57 per month on average, though business owners’ insurance needs can vary. To find the right amount of insurance, business owners should evaluate:

  • Business type. Each industry has different associated risks, and business owners should match coverage to their unique needs.
  • Business size. As a business grows, owners may need to up their coverage.
  • Business location. Certain cities and states have specific insurance requirements.
  • Contractual requirements. Clients, landlords and others might have coverage requirements for business owners.
