Bad actors online continue to become faster and sneakier, according to the CrowdStrike 2024 Threat Hunting Report.

CrowdStrike researchers determined that “interactive intrusions,” or cyberattacks resulting from “hands-on-keyboard activities,” increased 55% between July 2023 and June 2024. Most of those intrusions resulted in eCrime.

The good news: Cybersecurity defenses and awareness also are advancing.
