National Association of Professional Insurance Agents has awarded U.S. Representative Scott Fitzgerald the 2024 PIA Legislator of the Year Award. The Congressman accepted the award during PIA's Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill. Rep. Fitzgerald was chosen to receive the award due to his steadfast leadership in defending the state insurance regulatory system and limiting the power of the Federal Insurance Office.
AUGIE Group honored two of its members for their service and dedication to independent agents and the insurance industry at its recent meeting. Kathy Bova, vice president of operations at ASNOA, received the Unsung Hero Award. Keith Savino, managing partner and national cyber practice leader at PCF Insurance Services, was awarded The Andy Fogarty Industry Achievement Award. Both have been critical in enhancing relationships and tools for agents to work with insurers and solutions providers.
