Falvey Insurance Group hosted a charity golf tournament, "Fore the Pets," on September 9, raising $25,000 to benefit the Rhode Island Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The event, held at Richmond Country Club in Richmond, Rhode Island, brought together nearly 100 golfers for a beautiful day on the course, supporting RISPCA's mission to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome animals across the state.
Throughout October, PropertyCasualty360 will feature weekly articles about charitable acts being performed by the insurance community, in collaboration with the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation's (IICF) Month of Giving. This is the first year for the "Giving" program to be expanded from a "Week of Giving" to the entire month of October.
