Global Risk Consultants announced that Greg Bates joined as vice president of risk engineering services. He served at FM Global as an engineering consultant.
California Insurance Wholesalers Association announced the following appointments:

Price Forbes appointed Phil Johnson as chief executive designate of Asia Pacific. He served at Miller Insurance LLP as head of casualty, chair of the Australasian territorial group.
BMS Re announced the following appointments:
- Andrew Wheeler – interim co-CEO
- Russ McGuire – interim co-CEO
Alera Group appointed Sarah Sheckells as chief human resources officer. She held leadership roles at T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc., Campbell and Company and Morgan Stanley.
Chubb appointed Seth Gillston as executive vice president, head of North America industry practices. He previously held a number of leadership roles in M&A and private equity, global casualty, the real estate & hospitality practice and the alternative risk solutions group.
NFP announced Tom Gresh joined the company to lead its national yacht practice. He joined NFP with more than two decades of industry experience, which includes leading yacht practices for major insurance brokers.
