Aspen Insurance Holdings Limited appointed Andrew Rippert to the newly created role of executive vice president, head of mortgage. He served at Arch Capital as lead a mortgage credit business that was preeminent in the market. Lockton Insurance Brokers, LLC promoted Sherri Harrison to market leader. She served as senior consultant/San Diego office leader at Mercer. Keystroke Underwriters announced that Robert Ferretti joined as the director of underwriting. He served at Allianz's North American financial institutions team as an executive underwriter. Root, Inc. announced the following appointments:
  • Anirban Kundu: chief technology officer
  • Michele Streitmatter: chief people and organizational effectiveness officer
BMS appointed Mark Aylward as managing director. He served as director of the North American and international property team at Tysers. Platinum Specialty Underwriters appointed Malcolm Gilreath as vice president of underwriting. He was previously president and owner of Proactive Transportation Safety Services Inc. Hanleigh, a subsidiary of CRC Group, appointed Bill Haley as sales director. He served as regional director at Guardian Life Insurance. Mayer Brown announced the following appointments:
  • Yevgeniy (Yev) Markov: partner
  • Yuliya Feldman: senior associate
Chubb Limited appointed Mark Hammond as deputy chief financial officer. He previously served as executive vice president and chief financial officer for the company's Europe and Eurasia & Africa regions. Mound Cotton Wollan & Greengrass LLP announced that two new special counsel are joining the firm:
  • Vanessa Durante will focus on complex insurance coverage and bad faith litigation. Durante was previously with Cozen O'Connor.
  • Ethan Friedman will focus on complex real estate and civil litigation, including insurance cases. Friedman was formerly with Fidelity National Law Group.
