Thorson Specialty promoted Stacey Schwenk to chief underwriting officer. She previously served as head underwriting manager at Thorson Specialty. CopperPoint Insurance Companies announced that Joe Fox joined as vice president, Pay as You Go. He served as vice president, small commercial at Travelers. MAPFRE Insurance appointed Keith Jensen senior vice president, business development. He previously served at Plymouth Rock, Hanover, GMAC and Progressive. EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants announced the following appointments:

• Alex Petterson - managing principal
• Scott Medley - insurance advisor
• Jennifer Magaro - private account manager

BMS Group appointed David Overton as a director in BMS Latin America & Caribbean's Financial Lines division. He served as head of sales at EmergIn Risk. Trawick International appointed Dennis Wood as director of claims. He served as senior executive claims at Seven Corners, Fremont Comp Insurance and Wausau Insurance Companies. QBE North America announced the following appointments:

Farmers Group, Inc. promoted Maïté Irakoze Baur to chief investment officer. She previously worked at Zurich Insurance Group. International Re appointed Nate Reznicek as head of U.S. distribution. He served as director of operations at CIC Services. Optio Underwriting Limited appointed Mark Kelsey as senior underwriter, political violence and terrorism. He served at K2 International as an underwriter. AssetSure appointed Ted Karlunas as vice president, personal insurance practice leader. He served as operations leader for a large international agency. Philadelphia Insurance Companies promoted John W. Glomb to CEO. He will continue to serve as president and previously served as executive vice president and chief underwriting officer. Tokio Marine HCC announced that Ari Giller joined as vice president of cyber and tech underwriting. He served as director — cyber & tech underwriting Midwest at Tokio Marine HCC. Hanleigh – a subsidiary of CRC Group appointed Scott Cremens as sales director. He previously worked as a disability income sales consultant. High Point Underwriters announced that Patrick Murray joined as president of HPU. He served as regional sales vice president of specialty products at Pan-American Life Insurance Group.
