• Ed Lee - underwriting specialist

Argo Group International Holdings Ltd. appointed Allison Kiene as general counsel. She served at Sompo International Holdings Ltd. as assistant general counsel and chief compliance officer, data protection officer. Ascot appointed Steve Guijarro as U.S. chief risk officer & group head of exposure management. He served at S&P Ratings as P&C sector specialist and global ERM coordinator. MedRisk appointed Danielle Lisenbey as president. She previously worked at Crawford & Company and was the first female member of its global executive team. California Insurance Commissioner Ricardo Lara announced the following appointments:

• Rene Swan - board member, California Department of Insurance's Curriculum Board
• Alan Acosta - board member, California Life and Health Insurance Guarantee Association's (CLHIGA)
• Lynne Davidson - board member, California Workers' Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau's (WCIRB) Governing Committee

AHT Insurance appointed Mike Kelly as a new shareholder. He also serves as senior vice president at AHT. Ametros appointed Nicole Chappelle as vice president of settlement solutions.
