The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) revised its guidance on how long an individual needs to be isolated following a COVID-19 infection. "For most persons with COVID-19 illness, isolation and precautions can generally be discontinued 10 days after symptom onset and resolution of fever for at least 24 hours, without the use of fever-reducing medications, and with improvement of other symptoms," the CDC said.
Travelers' Chief Executive Officer Alan Schnitzer said, "We shouldn't let frivolous lawsuits undermine the nation's recovery," on a conference call Thursday, July 23. Travelers reported a net loss of $40 million in second-quarter 2020; the company's reported a profit of $557 million a year prior.

Around 80,000 people are being evacuated from the popular resort city of Da Nang, Vietnam, after three residents tested positive for coronavirus, the Vietnamese government announced. The country recorded its first locally-transmitted case of COVID-19 on Saturday. A pet cat tested positive for the coronavirus in the U.K., according to Bloomberg. The cat caught the virus from its owners, and there is no evidence suggesting animals can transmit the disease to humans, officials said. A German cruise ship, Mein Schiff 2, set sail on Friday with 1,200 passengers on board (60% capacity).
