He has served as the deputy regional head of MLC Financial Lines. AGCS has promoted Ali Shahkarami as chief data officer. Nationwide announced that Chief Veterinary Officer Carol McConnell is retiring and Dr. Jules Benson will take over her role. Starr Insurance Companies has appointed John Patin as senior investment officer. Mr. Patin previously worked with Allied World Assurance. MarketScout announced that Bobbie Perrigo has joined the firm as professional liability broker. Perrigo also serves as president-elect of the Tarrant County Insurance Professionals.
