People on the move in the P&C insurance industry: Feb. 7, 2020

Emma Carpenter has been appointed global super yacht leader at Aon plc and will join the company in early March. She will join Aon plc from Willis Towers Watson, where she has served as a super yacht insurance broker for more than a decade. Europ Assistance hired Virginie Babinet as chief transformation officer. Prior to joining Europ Assistance, she spent 25 years at AXA, Will Ho has been appointed CEO of MS Amlin Asia Pacific. Ho joined MS Amlin in 2012 and served as head of reinsurance (Asia) prior to his latest appointment. Tokio Marine HCC announced the addition of Scott La Croix as vice president and head of Tokio Marine HCC - Specialty Groups Canada operations. Prior to this, he served as partner at J.M. Johnson Insurance Agencies for eight years. Jonathan Young has joined Newfront Insurance as general counsel. Before joining Newfront, he ran his own practice at Tonkon Torp LLP, where he specialized in insurance law. RT Specialty LLC announced the following promotions:

• Claudia May and Dave Adcock have been named president of RT Specialty's national personal lines practice
• Jason Lentz has been named RT Specialty's national practice leader, private client group

Munich Re announced the following appointments:

• Daniel C. Cenzano - head of global business communications
• Stephanie Weiler - head of global brand & operations

Colleen Vallen has joined J.A. Montgomery Consulting, an affiliate of Conner Strong & Buckelew, as senior vice president, forensic services practice leader. Previously, Vallen worked as a partner at Citrin Cooperman, where she was the practice leader for the fir's litigation support services group. AXA XL named Elizabeth W. Benet to the newly created role of global chief underwriting officer, cyber. Benet joins AXA XL from her own consulting business, where she assisted insurance company clients in the development and implementation of new insurance products and consultation on the set up of underwriting and claims systems and feedback on reinsurance purchasing. Matthew Lefchik has joined Node International as director, cyber risk management services. He most recently served as the global director of strategic partnerships and sales for Avertium. Lockton Pacific Series announced that Vinny Catalano has joined the company to grow and accelerate its employee benefits presence in the Sacramento, Calif., region. He served as area senior vice president for Arthur J. Gallagher before joining Lockton. Edgar Alvarez has joined Insgroup as a risk advisor. He most recently worked as a senior PEO benefits consultant for Resourcing Edge. CAC Specialty and Cobbs Allen appointed Chris Trotter as chief financial officer and member of the executive committees for both firms. Trotter comes most recently from Arlington Family Offices, where he was a partner and chief investment officer. CAC Specialty also expanded its M&A Solutions specialty with the additions of Ned Murphy and Dan Lehmann as senior vice presidents. Murphy was most recently with Marsh & McLennan Companies, where he served as a senior vice president within the U.S. sales group. Lehmann joins CAC Specialty's Denver officer after a 21-year career in asset management focused on alternative investments. Garett Kaneko has joined Worldwide Facilities as executive vice president, national client management and sales. His experience includes leading the management of agent and broker relationships on behalf of national carriers, as well as being a wholesale insurance broker. Distinguished Programs announced the following promotions:

• Kirkland Requejo - regional sales executive for Illinois and Wisconsin
• Greg Somers - regional sales executive in the Mid-Atlantic region
• Mark King - regional sales executive for Southern California, Oklahoma and Texas
• Jack Madsen - regional sales executive in the Pacific Northwest

Farmers Insurance announced the following appointments:

• Eric Kappler - chief product officer
• Bronwyn Koopman - president of Bristol West, a member of the Farmers Insurance Group of Companies
