Specialist insurer Beazley appointed Georgina Peters-Venzano chief marketing officer, effective March 2020. She will join Beazley after nearly six years as director for brand strategy, marketing and communications at CNA Hardy. Belen Tokarski has been named chief operating officer at Mylo. She served as senior vice president, chief of strategy - commercial lines prior to her appointment. Neptune Flood Incorporated announced that its CEO and chairman are switching roles. Trevor Burgess assumes the role of CEO and Jim Albert takes on the role of chairman in order to most effectively tackle the next stage of strategic growth post-startup. Terry Dyson has been appointed director of business development and distribution at HSB Engineering Insurance (HSB). He joins HSB from Travelers, where he worked as a regional distribution manager. AXA XL welcomed senior underwriters Odette Novoa and Erica Delaney to its environmental insurance team in New York. Novoa joined the company from Aspen, where she served as an underwriter of environmental and casualty lines in both domestic and international markets. Delaney joins the company from The Hartford, where she served as a Northeast regional pollution underwriter. Corey Rice has been appointed senior vice president of insurance product and strategy at Ladder Now. Most recently, Rice served as senior claims manager at Liberty Mutual. DropIn Inc., a provider of the on-demand, live video platform for the insurance industry, appointed Joseph Shemesh CEO. Lockton's Southeast practice added a new aviation practice lead and team:

• Roger Maldonado - aviation expert

Christina Mertens has joined Breckenridge Insurance Services as vice president, property & casualty broker. Prior to Breckenridge, she was an account placement manager for the Professional Independent Agents of Colorado. Carpenter Marsh Fac appointed Carlos Rivera CEO. Most recently, he served as placement leader for Marsh Latin America and Caribbean. Tom Maloney has been appointed head of claims and chief claims officer for AmTrust International Specialty and AmTrust Europe Limited, respectively. He joined AmTrust in 2016. Coverys Managing Agency Limited, the Lloyd's managing agent of Syndicates 1975, 1991 and 3330, appointed Jo Marshall general counsel. She joins from Canopius and brings over two decades of strong legal and compliance experience in the reinsurance sector. Steven Germundson rejoined OPTIS Partners, an investment banking and financial consulting firm serving insurance agents and brokers, as a partner. Germundson was most recently senior vice president of corporate development at Prime Risk partners. Victor Insurance Holdings announced approval from Lloyd's, the specialist insurance market, to establish Victor Syndicate 2288 and commence underwriting, effective Jan. 1, 2020. The active underwriter for Victor Syndicate 2288 will be Jill Frances, who will also assume the role of chief underwriting and operations officer for Victor International. Inga Beale and Stephen Chipman have joined insurance law firm Clyde & Co's management board as independent board members, effective Jan. 1, 2020. Beale was the CEO of Lloyd's of London from 2014-2018. Chipman was Grant Thorton's former CEO in the U.S. and China. Ringler Associates Incorporated announced the following appointments:
