CNA appointed Joyce Bellows senior vice president, internal audit. Most recently, she served as vice president and chief of internal audit at Horace Mann. Frank Guerriero has been appointed interim head of international facultative operations at Guy Carpenter & Company LLC. Guerriero has been with Guy Carpenter for 18 years and currently serves as head of North American property facultative. Origami Risk announced the formation of two operating divisions — Risk Solutions and Core Solutions — and appointed Earne Bentley and Christopher Bennett to lead the divisions. Bentley previously held the position of executive director of sales, while Bennett was a sales team lead. Jennifer Rentis has joined Valiant Insurance Services as a new account manager. Prior to moving to Valiant, Rentis led the customer service department at a San Diego-area agency. Falvey Cargo Underwriting has appointed Jason Gomez and Graeme Schultz as vice presidents. Both most recently worked with Swiss Re Corporate Solutions. Eric Terada has joined EverQuote Inc. as general manager of the home and rentals verticals. He joins the company with over 15 years of business and operations experience at organizations such as Wayfair, McKinsey & Company and Deloitte. The Institutes RiskStream Collaborative, a risk management and enterprise-level blockchain consortium, has appointed Eric Henderson and Bob Bastian as chair and vice chair, respectively, of the collaborative's U.S. life and annuity advisory board. Henderson is the president of Nationwide Annuity. Bastian is the chief information officer of individual solutions group at Prudential Financial. Envista Forensics announced several promotions:
  • Scott Broad has been promoted to regional director and will manage the eastern half of the United States.
  • Nick Jannetto has been promoted to regional director and will manage the western half of the U.S.
  • Mike Driscoll, Van Fisher and Wes Grandlienard have been appointed as technical directors.
Anne Marie Towle has joined Hylant as senior vice president. Towle most recently served as executive vice president at JLT Insurance Management. Hanover Stone Partners established a national public entity practice and appointed Laureen M. Coyne and Pam Davis as co-leaders of the new practice. Coyne was most recently manager of risk management for Westfield World Trade Center. Davis was executive assistant general counsel at the New York City Transit Authority for nearly four years. Brad Darr has been appointed client solutions leader at Beecher Carlson Insurance Services LLC. Throughout his career, he has serviced clients with complex program designs while providing alternative risk financing. Iowa Insurance Commissioner Doug Ommen announced that Jared Kirby has been appointed deputy insurance commissioner for market regulation. Kirby has served as a law enforcement officer in the Iowa Insurance Division's Fraud Bureau since 2006, leading the Fraud Bureau as Fraud Bureau Chief since 2014. Willis Towers Watson appointed Nancy Woode head of property broking in North America. Prior to this appointment, she led the Atlantic South property broking team. John Mina has been named CEO at Risk Strategies. He joined the company in April 2017 from Willis Towers Watson, most recently serving as president. Tokio Marine HCC announced that Sharon Brock and Tom Weist have been appointed co-chief financial officers. Brock joined Tokio Marine HCC in 2004 and most recently served as executive vice president and chief accounting officer. Weist joined Tokio Marine HCC in 2011 and most recently served as senior vice president and chief actuary. Gina Bernardo has been named an account administrator within RT Specialty's national environment and construction professional liability practice. Prior to joining RT Specialty, Bernardo served as an intern at Hartree Partners LP. Trident Marine Managers appointed Jeana Ramos director of underwriting. She brings more than 25 years of professional experience, notably opening Continental Risk/Continental Marine in 2005.
