Melissa Jones has been promoted to executive vice president and chief human resources officer at CSAA Insurance Group, an AAA insurer. Prior to CSAA Insurance Group, she was with JPMorgan Chase. The Insurance Marketing & Communications Association announced Megan Flanagan as its new executive director upon the retirement of Gloria Grove. Flanagan has more than 15 years of nonprofit management experience, including the Institute of Real Estate Management Minnesota Chapter and the City Center Partnership. Amy Coddington has been named an account manager within RT Specialty's national environmental and construction professional liability practice. Before joining RT Specialty, she served as a commercial insurance account manager at the Tyrol Insurance Agency. SOBC DARAG announced the launch of its new office in Bermuda with the following appointments:
  • Dan Linden - head of SOBC DARAG's Bermuda office, effective August 1
  • Joel Neal - executive vice president

Cross Insurance promoted David Branning to vice president and branch manager after announcing the closing and merger of Cross Insurance's Exeter, N.H,. and Somersworth, N.H., offices into a larger more centrally located office in Portsmouth, N.H. Branning joined Cross Insurance in 2016 as an account executive and became branch manager of Somersworth, N.H., and Exeter, N.H., in 2017. Megan McConnell has been appointed chief underwriting officer in the United States for international specialist insurer Hiscox. She most recently served as the director of underwriting for Hiscox Re & ILS. Chubb Limited appointed Juan Luis Ortega executive vice president, Chubb Group and president, overseas general insurance. Ortega steps into his new role after serving as senior vice president, Chubb Group and regional president of Latin America. EC3 Brokers announced the expansion of its U.K. contingency and entertainment division with the following appointments:
