People on the move in the P&C insurance industry: July 19, 2019

American International Group Inc. announced that Tom Parker will join the company as deputy chief information security officer. He joins the company from Accenture Security, where he was the growth, strategy and technology lead. Joshila Tailor has joined Everest Insurance International as the global head of fine art and specie. Tailor most recently served as the head of cargo & specie at Charles Taylor Managing Agency. ClarionDoor Inc. added Mark Heslop to the leadership team as the company's new head of data and analytics. He comes to the company with over ten years of experience in the fintech and InsurTech industries. Linda Regner Dykeman has been appointed chief agent of Canada at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS). Since 2016, Dykeman has been the head of midcorp for AGCS Canada. Answer Financial, a personal lines insurance agency in the U.S., announced three senior leadership appointments:

• Jimmy Lee - senior vice president and chief marketing officer
• Nick Covella - vice president of infrastructure
• Jeff Sadler - vice president of insurance product management

Brian J. Gannon has been appointed senior vice president of business development at Tower MSA Partners. Most recently, he was a consultant for Marsh's claims inventory workout group. Willis Towers Watson appointed Jim Dunlap head of construction broking in North America. Prior to this appointment, Dunlap served as head of casualty construction broking for North America at Willis Towers Watson. Ali Kheirolomoom has joined Vintech Systems Group, a provider of cloud-based administration solutions, as chief product officer. He comes to Vitech from Guidewire Software. Aon plc announced that its board of directors has approved the appointment of Darren Zeidel as the firm's executive vice president, general counsel and company secretary. Most recently, Zeidel served as deputy general counsel for the company. John Carolin has been appointed CEO of B3i Services AG, a global initiative supported by 17 major insurance industry investors. He previously served as interim CEO since March 2009 after joining B3i as chief financial officer in March 2018. InsuranceHub welcomed five new team members to its transportation department:

• Mykaylah Johnson-Gray - business development specialist

Blair Wunderlich has joined Risk Strategies as a senior account manager and producer to its DeWitt Stern national fine art practice. She was previously an account executive at fine art specialty insurance brokerage Aon Huntington T. Block. Willis Towers Watson announced a series of appointments across its Financial Institutions (FI) business in Canada:

• Susan Finbow - head of FI industry, Canada
• Alexandra Kindbom - Canda head of FINEX FI
• Andrew Brown - FINEX FI lead relationship manager

Ted Ranft has been hired as chief revenue officer at Unqork, the DIY enterprise software company. Prior to joining Unqork, Ranft spent more than 10 years at VMware. The Hartford appointed Jonathan Bennett to head Group Benefits, effective August 5. Most recently, he served as the chief financial officer and head of strategy for both property & casualty and group benefits for the past seven years. Artex announced two executive-level promotions:

• Stephen Thompsett - chief operating officer
• Brandon Marshall - chief financial officer
