Slice Labs launched its Insurance Cloud Services (ICS) platform in the UK, which will enable global insurance carriers in the market to use to ideate, experiment, test and deploy their own on-demand insurance products. Slice launched ICS in the U.S. in January 2018 and has partnered with a handful of global carriers including Progressive and AXA XL to help them launch their own on-demand insurance products, both for homeshare and SMB cyber protection.
Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. announced the acquisition of Chicago-based Captive Insurance Company Design and Operations. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
