PacWest Alliance Insurance Services Inc. has appointed Smart Harbor as a preferred partner. As part of the partnership, Smart Harbor will offer PacWest agencies a variety of digital solutions, including website and SEO, meeting technology and CRM.

Worldwide Facilities LLC has acquired the assets of RIC Insurance General  Agency Inc. RIC will continue to maintain its client and market relationships and commitments as a division of Worldwide Facilities.

NI Holdings Inc. has definitively agreed to purchase 100% of the stock of Direct Auto Insurance Company from private shareholders. Closing the transaction is expected later this year to subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approval.

Assurant Inc. has acquired The Warranty Group from TPB Capital for a total enterprise value of approximately $2.5 billion. As part of this transaction, Peter McGoohan and Eric Leathers, both representatives of TPG Capital, will join Assurant Inc.'s board of directors and will serve on the board's Compensation and Finance & Risk committees, respectively.

Coalition announced the first cyber insurance offering specifically designed to address emerging risks facing real estate developers, property managers and other businesses across the real estate industry. The company provides a full suite of cybersecurity apps and up to $10 million of comprehensive cyber insurance coverage to businesses across the real estate industry.

PAK Programs, specialty insurer of alcoholic beverage manufacturers and distributors, introduced Meadery PAK, the first program designed specifically for the unique needs of mead producers. The program will be underwritten by Great American Insurance Company.

The Schinnerer Group announced that it is rebranding as Victor, a name reflective of the firm's history and its new global operating model. Victor is the world's largest managing general underwriter. The Schinnerer Group's businesses will take up the Victor brand over the next year and combine to operate as a global entity.

LexisNexis Risk Solutions and Mitsubishi Motors North America Inc. announced the availability of LexisNexis telematics solutions to Mitsubishi's Road Assist+ smartphone app. The app enables Mitsubishi drivers to enjoy the cost savings of usage-based insurance without having to install telematics hardware devices in their vehicles or purchase a newer "connected car" model.

Specialty Program Group LLC has acquired the assets of Professional Program Insurance Brokerage. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
