Microsoft and Flyreel, makers of an AI-assisted underwriting solution for commercial and residential properties, have announced a partnership to accelerate access to Flyreel's exclusive underwriting assistant. As part of the alliance, Microsoft is investing resources and expertise to accelerate Flyreel's go-to-market strategy, bringing new efficiency and accuracy to the property and casualty insurance market. "So many of our insurance industry clients have been asking for this kind of intelligent, automated solution to help them cut costs, improve operational efficiency, and increase customer satisfaction and retention. But, we've been unable to find one — until now," Microsoft's Director of U.S. Insurance Industry business said in a recent press release.
SpatialKey, Inc., the provider of geospatial insurance analytics, has partnered with Swiss Re to offer insurers access to multi-peril hazard data through SpatialKey's proprietary underwriting solution. This collaboration integrates Swiss Re's CatNet® hazard data directly into SpatialKey, providing insurers with access to 10 hazards worldwide for greater accuracy in risk selection, assessment, and management.
PartnerRe Ltd. has announced a deal with Farmers Edge™ that will help insurers close the insurance gap among farmers worldwide. The exclusive, four-year agreement between Farmers Edge and PartnerRe brings together precision farming technology and agriculture insurance in a landmark deal that will fundamentally advance the $5 trillion global food and agriculture industry. Under the terms of the agreement, PartnerRe and Farmers Edge will jointly develop new agriculture insurance products in main crop growing areas worldwide, aimed at addressing the specific needs and challenges of farmers.

TenantCloud, the cloud-based rental accounting software, recently partnered with Assurant, the global provider of risk management solutions, to help landlords protect their rentals by requiring tenants to have Renters Insurance and tenants can protect their belongings by securing Renters Insurance directly on the TenantCloud app. TenantCloud focuses on the largest rental market in the U.S., in particular, the do-it-yourself landlords and tenants of single family rentals. TenantCloud's service is free to the estimated 14 million landlords and 70 million tenants.
