AmWINS Group Inc. has completed the acquisition of 15 insurance programs from Willis Towers Watson. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
AIG has introduced Blackboard, the new brand name and logo for its technology-focused subsidiary, formerly operating under the Hamilton USA brand. AIG completed the acquisition of Hamilton USA on Oct. 2, 2017.
Kimberly Tatum, Isaiah Robinson, Lacee Barnes and Jake Bennett each received the Insurance Managers Association of Cayman (IMAC) scholarship this year. The scholarship offers up to $40,000 per annum to budding students.
AmTrust Financial Services Inc. and Madison Dearborn Partners (MDP) have announced a definitive agreement under which AmTrust will transfer a 51% equity interest in certain of its U.S.-based fee businesses to MDP. The transaction values the business at $1.15 billion, plus up to an additional $50 million upon exit, subject to agreed thresholds.
