The Claims Education Conference, organized by the American Educational Institute, the International Insurance Institute, Inc. and the Society of Claim Law Associates and sponsored by Latitude Subrogation Services, will be held May 16-19, 2017 at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside.

No company in the insurance industry has been more focused on improving the level of claims professionals through in-person training than International Insurance Institute, Inc. (III). Since its inception in April 1998, III has delivered more claims-specific training, to more companies, in more countries, than any claims training company in the world. Carl Van, president and CEO of III, believes that when a claims professional invests the time and money to go to a conference, they should return with knowledge they can use right away and have information that they can share with their colleagues as well. "This is a straight-forward, educational conference. The focus is on claims training, and you will leave having learned what you came to learn," Carl explains.

The other two organizers of the conference, American Educational Institute (AEI) and the Society of Claim Law Associates (SCLA), partners in claims law education, are committed to helping claims professionals increase their claims law knowledge and to stay current with the latest claims technical and legal issues.

The conference will include three breakout tracks, each covering a different area of expertise: Claims Soft Skills; Claims Management; and Claims Technical. Sessions include "Awesome Claims Customer Service," "Arbitration Tips for Auto Claims," "Protecting Your Pre-Suit Investigation," and "Litigation Management," as well as many others. There will also be many opportunities for networking and an exhibit hall with industry-related vendors showcasing the latest products and services.

The conference also provides recognition for new designees of AEI. Individuals are recognized for having achieved designations of Specialist, Associate and the "ultimate in claims law professionalism" — Senior Claim Law Associate (SCLA). Silver and Gold award recipients are also recognized. Participation in the conference, however, is not limited to SCLA members or AEI designees. All insurance claims professionals are invited to attend.

The Claims Education Conference strives to provide high-level training away from the office where claims professionals will be able to focus on high-quality performance, enabling them to work more efficiently and provide superior customer service. In addition to the high-level training, the conference will also be approved for continuing education (C.E.) credits for adjusters in most states that require C.E.

Those interested in attending the conference should contact Lisa Ferrier at 612-868-3650 or visit www.claimseducationconference.net for more details and to register.
