Grinnell, Iowa-based Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Company has selected Foster City, California-based Guidewire Software, Inc.'s InsuranceSuite, Rating Management, Client Data Management and Business Intelligence for InsuranceSuite as its platform for policy administration, billing, claims management, underwriting, rating, client data management and analytics. The company has also selected Guidewire Quote and Buy Portal for Policyholders, Account Management Portal for Policyholders and Gateway Portal for Agents to enhance the digital experience of its policyholders and agents.
Guidewire Software, Inc. also said Norwich, England-based auto insurance claims management and analysis services provider Validus-IVC Ltd has joined Guidewire PartnerConnect as a solution partner. The companies also announced Validus' participation in the Ready for Guidewire accelerator program.
Farmington Hills, Michigan-based insurance software provider X by 2, LLC has expanded to include a new North American practice X by 2 Canada. The Canadian office will be located in Mississauga, Ontario.
USI Insurance Services, a Valhalla, New York-based insurance brokerage and consulting company, has acquired Elmore, Ohio- based risk management and employee benefits firm Diversified Insurance Service. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
