Schaumburg, Illinois-based brokerage Assurance said it has appointed Peter Kunz vice president, construction. He was a broker in the construction and energy industries for a large insurance brokerage.
New York City-based insurance brokerage and risk management company Integro Insurance Brokers said it has named Deborah Morris New York operations leader. She joins from AIG where she served as zonal executive and senior vice president.
Denver-based specialty insurance advisor JLT Specialty USA said it has appointed David Turner vice president. He joins from Marsh & McLennan Cos., where he served as vice president of sales.
Chicago-based insurer Ryan Specialty Group said it has appointed Charlie Rosson senior vice president, based out of San Francisco, California. He joins from Woodruff-Sawyer & Co. where he served as chief executive officer.
Ryan Specialty Group also said its specialty insurance brokerage R-T Specialty LLC has made the following promotions:
- Stephen Hunziker: president, RT Specialty Minneapolis/St. Paul
- Todd Nielsen: president, RT Specialty Boston
Atlanta-based claims management solutions provider Crawford & Company said it has named Andrew Robinson global chief operating officer. He joins from The Hanover Insurance Group, Inc. where he served as president of Specialty Insurance, executive vice president of Corporate Development and chief risk officer.
Chicago-based CCC Information Services said it has named Andreas Hecht senior vice president and general manager of its new original equipment manufacturers business unit. He joins from INRIX, Inc. where he served as executive vice president and general manager of automotive.
Brentwood, Tennessee-based insurance services company Brentwood Services Administrators said it has promoted Riley Brown to staff accountant. He previously served as an accounting intern.
Valhalla, New York-based insurance brokerage and consulting company USI Insurance Services said it has appointed Michael DePlacido vice president of the employee benefits practice for the Woburn, Massachusetts office. He joins from Anthem where he served as specialty sales executive.
East Windsor, Connecticut-based Insuritas said it appointed Russell J. Omer to its board of directors. He is retired from his most recent position at Chicopee Savings Bank as executive vice president.
Jacksonville, Florida-based property and casualty insurer Main Street America Group said it has promoted Jeff Kusch to executive vice president, insurance operations. He previously led field sales.
Bermuda-based specialty insurer and reinsurer Argo Group International Holdings said its surety business Argo Surety has appointed David M. Layman vice president and chief underwriting officer of Contract Surety. He joins from Layman Surety Services, LLC where he was president.
Itasca, Illinois-based insurance brokerage and risk management services company Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. said it has made the following promotions in its employee benefit division:
- James Durkin: currently president of the employee benefits division, will assume the newly created position of chairman of the employee benefit division
- William Ziebell: currently a regional leader in the benefits division, will assume the position of president of the division
