Johnston, Rhode Island-based commercial and industrial property insurer FM Global said it has promoted Kevin S. Ingram to chief financial officer and senior vice president of finance, effective immediately.
He succeeds Jeffrey A. Burchill, who is retiring at the end of this year.
Ingram joined FM Global in 1990. He most recently served as senior vice president of corporate services, overseeing the company's business risk consulting, business risk management, analytics and business process improvement functions.
In his new role, Ingram is responsible for all finance and risk management operations at FM Global.
Prior to his time at FM Global, Ingram worked for Ernst & Young as senior manager in the insurance audit group in Chicago, Illinois, and is a graduate of Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois.
“Burchill has made so many valuable contributions over his distinguished career, including collaborating with Ingram to significantly improve the performance of the company,” said Thomas A. Lawson, president and CEO of FM Global. “Although Burchill will be deeply missed, Ingram couldn't be better prepared for the job.”
