New York City-based property and casualty insurer Tokio Marine Management & Insurance Cos. said it is rebranding to Tokio Marine America, and is expanding the products and services it offers to include national and middle-market businesses in the United States.
Munich, Germany-based insurer Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty said it unveiled the seventh edition of its "Global Wealth Report."
The Arlington, Virginia-based Casualty Actuarial Society said it has appointed to its board of directors John Lucker, global advanced analytics and modeling market leader at Deloitte, and Peter L. Miller, CPCU, president and chief executive officer of the Institutes. Lucker and Miller will serve one-year terms, alongside Hemant Shah, co-founder and chief executive officer of Risk Management Solutions Inc., who was reappointed for another one-year term.

Boston-based insurance brokerage Risk Strategies Co. said it has acquired Miami-based Kahn-Carlin Insurance. Terms were not disclosed.
Bermuda-based Randall & Quilter Investment Holdings Ltd said it has acquired United States Sports Insurance Co., a wholly owned captive insurer of USA Swimming Inc. Terms were not disclosed, but the company said that the directors of USSIC will be appointed from Randall & Quilter's existing staff in the United States and Bermuda.
Jacksonville, Florida-based property and casualty insurance retailer Brightway Insurance said it has opened offices in North Carolina; Kennesaw, Georgia; and Jacksonville, Florida.
Hartford, Connecticut-based Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Co. said it has released new survey data which reveals that more than one-third of U.S. consumers experienced a computer virus, hacking incident or other cyber attack in the past 12 months, and young adults 18-24 were the most likely victims.The top two concerns among consumers were potential cyber attacks (66%) and online fraud (62%), the company said.
New York City-based peer-to-peer insurer Lemonade said that it has been licensed as a full-stack insurance carrier by New York state.
Cambridge, Mass.-based startup Insurify Inc. said it has expanded its agent base to 815 from 70 since its launch at the end of January. The company also said 102 carriers across 48 states have joined its platform.
San Diego-based claims management software company Mitchell International said it has upgraded its DecisionPoint medical bill review software for first- and third-party auto casualty markets.
