Who's using what in the P&C insurance industry: July 11, 2016

Foster City, California-based insurance software developer Guidewire Software Inc. said that Mountain West Farm Bureau is using its core operations, data and analytics, and digital engagement products, and that Western Reserve Group has chosen its Guidewire Digital Portals along with Guidewire's InsuranceSuite, which is currently in implementation. 

Guidewire Software also said Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Co. has deployed Guidewire's PolicyCenter as its global underwriting and policy administration system and Guidewire's BillingCenter as its billing management system. 

Tampa, Florida-based Ivans Insurance Solutions said that Massachussetts-based homeowner and personal and commercial auto carrier Safety Insurance Co. is using Ivan's Download for Personal and Commercial Lines.

Terrebonne, Quebec-based insurance software company Xpertdoc Technologies Inc. said Buffalo, New York-based property and casualty insurance products Merchants Insurance Group will implement its customer comunication management software and its ISO forms software.

Malaysia-based motor and general insurance company AmGeneral Insurance said it is now using the rating software from Duck Creek Technologies for its individual auto and commercial motor class of business for pricing, underwriting and risk assessment. 

Birmingham, Alabama-based national insurance and risk management firm Cobbs Allen said it has selected RiskMatch for data and analytics to support its commercial property and casualty insurance placement, sales, marketing and service capabilities.

Specialist Lloyd's insurer Neon said it has selected TigerRisk Partners' TigerEye platform as its pricing and roll-up tool to support the company's property reinsurance business. 

Hartford, Connecticut-based insurance software company Insurity Inc. announced that Atlas General Insurance Services is using its Billing Decisions software for the agency's workers' compensation business.
