Oro Valley, Arizona -based software provider Digi Inventory Inc. said it now offering its DigiPro software, which the company says streamlines and standardizes administration of personal property claims.

Lakewood Ranch, Florida-based insurance claims adjuster and third-party administrator Johns Eastern Co. said it will celebrate its 70th anniversary on July 26, 2016. Since its founding in 1946, Johns Eastern has grown from a one-person operation into a business with more than 240 employees, providing claims-adjusting services to public entities, insurance companies and self-insured corporations. To commemorate its anniversary, the company redesigned its website and held various events. 

London-based adjusting and claims management company Cunningham Lindsey said it has expanded FAS Global, its division that provides financial forensics and investigation services, with offices in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand.

Chicago-based insurance brokerage Hub International Ltd. said it has acquired the assets of Pittsburgh-based Gateway Benefits, an employee benefits agency. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.  

Valhalla, New York-based insurance brokerage and consulting company USI Insurance Services said it has acquired the assets of Morgantown, West Virginia-based retail property and casualty and employee benefits insurance brokerage firm MVB Insurance LLC from MVB Financial Corp. The company said all employees at MVB Insurance have been offered employment by USI, and MVB Insurance will retain the assets and operation of its title insurance business.   

Boston-based insurance brokerage Risk Strategies Co. said it is offering a new risk strategies program to help clients quantify capabilities of participating technologies in order to decipher which ones are best suited to their needs and business goals.

London-based Lloyd's Tercentenary Research Foundation said it has collaborated with the U.S.-U.K. Fulbright Commission to support three scholars  Edward Foale, Hannah Bailey and Stefan Lachowycz  to carry out risk-related research in the United States during the 2016-2017 academic year. The company said that in addition to funding two Fulbright-Lloyd's of London Scholars to study for 12 months in a top higher education institute in the U.S., the inaugural Fulbright-Lloyd's of London Postgraduate Award, providing first-year funding for a U.K. post-graduate to pursue a Master's degree in the U.S., has been awarded this year.
