Three Property & Casualty insurers have been named to the inaugural 2016 Bloomberg Financial Services Gender-Equality Index: Allianz, ING and Hartford Financial Services Group.
The index recognizes 26 financial services companies with strong commitments to gender equality, including dedicated social disclosure policies and practices.
(Click on the chart on the right for the full list of 26 companies on the 2016 index.)
The companies included on this year's index scored at or above 60 points — a global threshold established by Bloomberg to reflect disclosure and the achievement or adoption of best-in-class statistics and policies.
The goal of index is to provide companies with standardized aggregate data across company gender statistics, employee policies, gender-conscious product offerings, and external community support and engagement.
See the chart below to see how the companies on the index are making an impact on gender equality. Find out more about the index from Bloomberg.
