Boston-based insurance brokerage Risk Strategies Co. said it has acquired Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based brokerage Atlass Insurance Group. Terms were not disclosed, but Risk Strategies said that Atlass employees will continue to work from their Florida and Rhode Island offices.losed.
Salem, N.J.-based property and casualty insurer Farmers of Salem said for it second-quarter “Earn More, Give Back” charitable drive, which allows its agents to donate $15 per policy to support Habitat for Humanity, that six agencies have already donated to more than 15 policies each. The company said it plans to raise $15,000 for Habitat for Humanity affiliates in New Jersey and Maryland.

Peabody, Mass.-based insurance and risk management software provider Energi said it has released eServices, a software platform providing risk management, claims and marketing services.
Memphis, Tenn.-based claims management services company Sedgwick said it will acquire Ireland-based outsource services provider OSG Group. As part of the purchase agreement, OSG's team will join the international operations of Sedgwick and its subsidiary, Vericlaim. The transaction is expected to close this month.
