Alexandria, Va.-based Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America said North Charleston, S.C.-based insurance consulting firm Angela Adams Consulting Services Inc., is the newest company partner of its Agents Council for Technology.

The professional organization also said that Springfield, Mass., has been selected as the host city for its 2018 Fall Leadership Conference, which will take place Aug. 22- 26 at the Sheraton Springfield Monarch Place and Mass Mutual Center.

Itasca, Ill.-based insurance brokerage and risk management services company Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. said it has acquired Little Rock, Ark.-based Hagan Newkirk Financial Services. Terms were not disclosed, but Hagan Newkirk's Merlin Hagan, Chris Newkirk and their associates will continue to operate in their current location under the direction of John Neumaier, head of Gallagher's South Central employee benefit consulting and brokerage operations.

Atlanta,-based Prime Risk Partners Inc. said it has entered into an agreement to acquire Indianapolis-based independent insurance agency Old National Insurance, which will operate under the name ONI Risk Partners and will retain all of its offices. Prime Risk Partners said it will also acquire Old National subsidiaries JWF Specialty Co. and Employee Plans LLC. The transaction is expected to close by the end of the second quarter. Terms were not disclosed.

Los Angeles-based insurance giant Farmers Insurance said it is using a new enterprise first notice of loss system, which allows its personal lines customers to report a loss and schedule needed services such as rentals, emergency services and more through its website, Farmers.com.

Portsmouth, N.H.-based insurance program administrator Willis Programs said it has partnered with the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International to develop DroneGuard, an insurance program designed for unmanned system owners and operators.

The Toronto-based Boiler Inspection and Insurance Co. of Canada said it has introduced TechAdvantage, as its new standard equipment breakdown policy. The company said this policy also covers undetectable physical damage to microelectronics.

The Tustin, Calif.-based Claim Professionals Liability Insurance Co. said its board of directors has voted to pay a dividend to policyholders. The company said this is the first time it has declared a dividend.

East Windsor, Conn.-based Insuritas said it will begin offering insurance policies through Eatontown, N.J.-based First Atlantic Federal Credit Union.

Kansas City, Mo.-based insurance brokerage Lockton Cos. said it has been named to the advisory committee of the Washington, D.C-based Kogod Cybersecurity Governance Center at American University. Ben Beeson, cyber risk practice leader for Lockton, will advise the center on matters related to insurance and the cyber risk environment.

Foster City, Calif.-based insurance software developer Guidewire Software Inc. said it will work with San Jose, Calif.-based analytics firm Fair Isaac Corp. to help insurers identify and prevent personal auto claims fraud in the United States and Canada.

Valhalla, N.Y.-based insurance brokerage and consulting company USI Insurance Services said it has acquired Plymouth, Minn.-based employee benefits and consulting firm Hanratty & Associates Inc. Terms were not disclosed, but Hanratty's employees will remain at their current Plymouth location, the company said.
