People on the move in the P&C insurance industry: April 29, 2016

Chicago-based insurer Ryan Specialty Group said it has named Jorge Pecci president and CEO of its newly formed marine unit, Safe Waters, and Ray Stahl senior vice president of the yacht practice of Safe Waters. Pecci joins from AIG Marine, where he was regional executive for the Americas. Stahl also joins from AIG, where he was senior vice president of its global recreational marine practice.

Warrington, Pa.-based risk management consulting firm and insurance broker KMRD Partners said it has added Karl Granlun, CPCU, as risk manager. He joins from the Addis Group, where he was vice president and account manager in the healthcare practice division.

Jeff Huebner, vice president of treasury for Walnut Creek, Calif.-based CSAA Insurance Group, has been appointed to serve as the chairman of the board of governors for the Glendale, Calif.-based California Insurance Guarantee Association.

Charlotte, N.C.-based insurance and group benefits provider AmWINS said it has added Stan Cieslak to AmWINS Insurance Brokerage of California as vice president. He joins from Westrope and is based in Redondo Beach, Calif.

AmWins also announced:

• Kimberly Bilodeau has joined AmWINS Access Insurance Services as vice president. She joins from New Hamphsire Underwrites Insurance Agency and is based in Bedford, N.H.
• Joe Wittenberg has joined its Alta Risk LLC as vice president. He joins from Rockhill Insurance Co and is based in Kansas City, Mo.
• Mike Kunschke has been promoted to vice president of AmWINS Specialty Auto from director of product management. He joined the company in 2014 and is based in Dallas.  
• Corinne Jones, executive vice president of operations for AmWINS Access Insurance Services, has been elected president-elect of the American Association of Managing General Agents. She will begin her term in May of this year and serve until May 2017, when she will become president of the organization. Also elected to AAMGA's leadership team is Liam Hutelmyer of AmWINS Transportation Underwriters, who was elected vice president of AAMGA's Under Forty Organization.   

Johnston, R.I.-based commercial and industrial property insurer FM Global said it has appointed Kevin S. Ingram senior vice president of corporate services. He joined the company in 1990.

FM Global also said it has appointed Jeffrey Delmore vice president and risk manager. He joins from Middlesex Construction Ltd, where he was vice president and general manager.

Jersey City, N.J.-based data analytics provider Verisk Insurance Solutions said it has expanded its Property Claim Services team: 

• Tom Johansmeyer has been appointed assistant vice president of PCS Strategy and Development.
• Ted Gregory has been appointed director of operations for PCS.
• Joe Louwagie has been promoted to vice president of business development .

The board of directors of New York City-based risk management nonprofit Spencer Educational Foundation said it has named Ron Davis, an executive vice president Zurich Insurance Co., as its new chairman. He succeeds Brion E. Callori of FM Global, whose term ended. Davis will serve a two-year term. 

San Francisco-based EPIC Insurance Brokers and Consultants said that David McNeil, a principal in its Inland Empire division, has been appointed to the advisory board of the California Association of Mutual Water Companies Joint Powers Risk and Insurance Management Authority.

New York-based risk management firm QBE North America said it has promoted John Burkhart to senior vice president, head of management liability & professional lines. He joined the company in 2013 and and is based in Chicago.

Bermuda-based Bermuda Insurance Management Association said that Grainne Richmond has been elected president of the organization. She takes over from Robert Paton, executive vice president at Aon Risk Solutions, who has served a two-year term as BIMA's president. Richmond is vice president of Dyna Management Services.

Columbia, S.C.-based insurance technology and services company Seibels Bruce Group Inc. said it has added Melissa Callahan as an account executive within the claims division of the company, Seibels Claims Solutions. She joins from GHD, where she was Southeast Business development manager.

Bermuda-based reinsurer Aspen Re said it has appointed Hugo A. Cardona managing director for Latin America and Caribbean. He will join Aspen on May 2 from Odyssey Reinsurance Co., where he was chief underwriting officer and senior vice president, Latin America, Brazil and the Caribbean. He succeeds Peter Emblin, who will continue in his roles as managing director, Middle East and Africa, and head of casualty reinsurance.
