Bermuda-based specialty property and casualty insurance and reinsurance provider Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd. said it has hired Michael Nardiello as senior vice president and property product leader for global risk solutions. Nardiello, who will be based in New York City, joins from AIG, where he served as a regional property executive.
Canton, Mass.-based insurance solutions provider Boston Mutual Life Insurance Co. said its current president and chief executive officer, Paul A. Quaranto Jr., has been elected chairman of the board of directors.
New York City-based Liberty International Underwriters said it has appointed Robert Capicchioni vice president of its U.S. Railroad product line. Based in New York City, Capicchioni will report to Diana Cossetti, head of LIU U.S. Casualty. Previously, Capicchioni was underwriting manager in LIU's Casualty group.
Warrington, Pa.-based risk management consulting firm and insurance broker KMRD Partners said it has named John Garber Jr., CSP, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, risk manager of client advisory Services. He joins from the Addis Group where he was senior vice president.
Dublin-based insurance and reinsurance giant XL Catlin said it has appointed Dan Riordan president of global political risk and trade credit, effective May 2nd. He joins from Zurich Insurance Group, where he was CEO of global corporate in North America and previously as president of specialty products.
Bermuda-based Marsh IAS Management Services Ltd. said it has promoted Jill Husbands to chairman and Lawrence Bird to head of office for Marsh IAS in Bermuda. Husbands, who had been head office, replaces David Ezekiel, who is retiring. Bird previously was client leader in the Bermuda office.
Nashville, Tenn.-based independent insurance agency Crichton Group said it has promoted Austin Madison, a partner, to senior vice president from vice president, and Blake Wiedman to partner and vice president from commercial insurance advisor. Madison joined the agency in 2007 and Wiedman joined in 2011.

London-based Aon Risk Solutions said it has appointed Cynthia Fee senior casualty power specialist in its Global Power practice. She joins from the Sacramento Municipal Utility District, where she was a senior risk management analyst.
Berkley, Mich.-based Certified Restoration Drycleaning Network said it has promoted Tamara Dixon and Jodie Zollman to national sales managers. Dixon has been with the company since 2011 and is based in Atlanta. Zollman joined the company in 2010 and is based in Nashville.
