Bermuda-based insurer Hiscox said it is now offering a Cyber insurance product called Hiscox Cyberclear, which the company says is designed for small and medium-size enterprises in the United States with less than $1 billion in annual revenue.

Wayne, Pa.-based managed care services provider Genex Services said it has given its inaugural Heart of Case Management Award to three of its employees:

  • Field Case Management: Kim Price-Benham, RN, CCM, Troy, Mich.
  • Catastrophic Case Management: Nicole Hurley, RN, BSN, CDMS, Charlotte, N.C.
  • Telephonic Case Management: Mare Novess, RN, CCM, Cincinnati, Ohio.

The award is designed to recognize case managers' expertise.

Boston-based catastrophe modeling firm AIR Worldwide announced it has released what it says is the industry's first open-source deterministic cyber risk scenario. AIR said it plans to release a series of deterministic cyber scenarios over the next 12 months.

Houston-based fleet and safety management software company Gorilla Safety said it has released a fleet-safety management mobile app, aimed at use by short- and long-haul fleets.

The Fall River, Mass.-based nonprofit Private Risk Management Association said it is offering a six-segment online educational curriculum for high net worth agents called the Chartered Private Risk and Insurance Advisor certificate program.

The Minneapolis-based Insurance Marketing & Communications Association said it is seeking nominations for its 2016 Innovation Torchbearer Award, which recognizes individuals, institutions or organizations that have demonstrated innovative ideas or initiatives in marketing and communications that have affected the insurance industry. The deadline is May 9.

San Diego, Calif.-based claims management software company Mitchell International said it offering Mitchell ScriptAdvisor, a pharmacy benefit management program for the Workers' Compensation and auto casualty industries.

Dublin-based insurer XL Catlin's Americas Marine business said it has introduced an enhanced insurance policy to offer more-comprehensive cargo insurance coverage on a domestic, foreign or worldwide basis. 

East Windsor, Conn.-based Insuritas said it will begin offering insurance policies through Woodland, Calif.-based Yolo Federal Credit Union.

Connecticut-based Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. said it has teamed with Paris-based AXA Corporate Solutions to offer local insurance coverage in up to 150 countries through AXA's international network

Alexandria, Va.-based Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America said that Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) will address the association's membership on April 14 as part of the organization's legislative conference in Washington, D.C., April 13-15.

London-based risk management, insurance brokerage and financial advisory company Willis Towers Watson said it has released enhanced versions of its Cyber Quantified, Workers' Compensation Diagnostic and Global Peril Diagnostic analytics tools.

West Chester, Pa.-based program administrator Venture Insurance Programs said it has acquired Charlotte, N.C.-based managing general underwriter Tidal Solutions LLC. Terms were not disclosed, but Venture said Tidal Solutions CEO David Pearlstein will become executive vice president for Venture.
