London-based risk management, insurance brokerage and financial advisory company Willis Towers Watson has appointed Alexander van Kuffeler regional leader of financial institutions in Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Van Kuffeler was executive director in Willis's Political and Trade Credit Risk practice. He joined Willis in 2008, and is based in London.

Kansas City, Mo.-based insurance brokerage Lockton Cos. has appointed Ben Beeson as its cyber risk practice leader. He will continue to be based in Lockton's Washington, D.C., office, where he had previously worked as a client executive.

Columbus, Ohio-based insurance giant Nationwide announced that Tom Clark has been elected president of Nationwide's Excess & Surplus lines business. Clark, a 25-year industry veteran, succeeds Mike Miller, who is now president of Nationwide Ventures. Prior to joining the Excess & Surplus team as executive vice president in 2014, Clark served as senior vice president for Allied Field Operations.

London-based insurance market Lloyd's has announced the appointment of Enya He as regional director for its newly established South Central U.S. region. Based in Dallas, she will be responsible for market development in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas. Prior to joining Lloyd's, He served as associate professor of risk management and insurance at the University of North Texas.

Schaumburg, Ill.-based Assurance Financial Services has promoted Rich Cordova to senior vice president, practice leader. He previously had been a senior vice president.

New York City-based insurance broker and consultant NFP has appointed Patrick Savage chief operating officer for NFP Property & Casualty, Midwest. He previously served as COO and senior vice president of talent management at Hylant. Savage is based in Chicago and will report to Terrence Scali, CEO of NFP Property & Casualty.

Valhalla, N.Y.-based insurance brokerage and consulting company USI Insurance Services has appointed David Goldman employee benefits leader and producer for the company's Mountain region. He joins from Willis Group in Denver, where he was executive vice president and employee benefits producer.

New York City-based Liberty International Underwriters (LIU) has named Diana Cossetti senior vice president of its U.S. Casualty operation. She will be based in New York and report to Michael Finnegan, LIU's chief underwriting officer for U.S. operations.
