Bayshore, N.Y.-based insurance program manager Brownyard Group said it is now offering an insurance program for landscape professionals called GroundCover. The program, initially introduced on a non-admitted basis in 2011, will be available in all states except Louisiana.
U.K.-based insurance claims technology company Innovation Group and its newly branded software business 1insurer announced the completion of the company's acquisition by Washington, D.C.-based global alternative asset manager Carlyle Group. The £500 million acquisition was first announced on Sept. 1.

Farmington Hills, Mich.-based specialty insurer H.W. Kaufman Financial Group said it has acquired Technical Risk Services (TRS), a Toronto-based loss control services, inspections, and risk control consulting company. Terms were not disclosed, TRS will continue to operate under the TRS name as part of Canadian Reports, the Kaufman-owned premium audits, loss control inspections and risk management services provider. Gilles Proulx, former executive vice president of client services at TRS, will join Kaufman as president of Canadian Reports.
San Diego-based insurance software company Mitchell said that it has acquired the assets of Ann Arbor, Mich.-based pharmacy benefit manager Jordan Reses. Terms were not disclosed.
Denver-based Valen Analytics, a provider of data, analytics and predictive modeling for property and casualty insurers, has announced its third annual Valen Analytics Summit for 2016. The executive-level conference will feature keynote speakers from numerous industry and tech leaders, including Google Compare CEO Nicolas Weng Kan; Alan Bauer, former president of Progressive Direct; Matt Mosher, senior vice president of rating services at A.M. Best; and Jon-Mike Kowall, assistant vice president and head of property and casualty innovation at USAA. The summit is to take place in Vail, Colo., March 1-4.
